Sometimes I feedback like this:

“It feels really good hanging out with you, but how does that move the needle in my business?”

Yeesh. The implication is I’m all feel-good fluff with no practical application.

I have to admit, they’re not wrong. At least, not if you take a conventional view of business and getting things done.

You have to set goals. Take action. Roll up your sleeves and get to work. Dammit.

What does feeling good have to do with getting results in the “real world?”

Only everything.

Try on this metaphor:

Right now I’m in an airplane on my way from Atlanta to Los Angeles. It’s clear that I want to get to LA because I bought a ticket, and in fact, it was the primary reason for my visit to the States.

Imagine I turn to my neighbor and say:

“I really need to do something to get to LA! There’s this conference I really want to attend, and nothing is happening right now. Can you just give me some practical action steps or a practice to get me there?”

My neighbor is kind enough to hide their amusement. “Well, it seems to me you can relax and notice that you’re already on your way to LA. There isn’t anything you can do to get you there any faster.”

Well, we’re doing the equivalent of that all the time. Running around like headless hens trying to get somewhere, wearing grooves into the dirt with our frantic efforting.

Freaking out is a waste of energy. The constant stress and pressure of needing to do something drains our energy, makes us less effective, and hinders our creativity.

So while my critics insist they don’t have time for the good feeling that comes from a spiritual conversation because there’s simply too much that needs to be done (after all, they need to be practical and focus on the important things) most of them aren’t actually doing anything to build their businesses because the mere thought of it is exhausting.

They spend their time taking courses about how to make money rather than taking the (exhausting and scary!) actions to do it. Or stress handicaps their performance and drains them to the point of burnout.

So, yeah. My #1 priority is to help you feel more relaxed and peaceful, so you can enjoy your life and business. I won’t apologize for that.

When you’re feeling good – present, spacious, playful, curious — you fuel the visible results and enjoy your journey.

When you’re enjoying life, you get inspired, and when you get inspired, you create. It’s natural and inevitable.

And if one of the things you’d like to create is impact in the world through your business, well, that follows naturally, too

No one needs to force you into it. Not even that taskmaster in your head who loves to call you a lazy douche-nozzle.

Let me clarify something about this “good feeling” of which I speak.

I’m not referring to the pleasure sugar high you get from downing a pint of Ben & Jerry’s ice cream or binge watching
Desperate Housewives. That type of “good feeling” is hollow and comes with a crash.

I’m talking about the “good feeling” (what Rani Bora calls the G*d Feeling) underneath any and every thought and feeling. It lives in the present moment where we’re resting in what is. It has nothing to do with religion, but everything to do with your spiritual existence.

That feeling.

You know the difference between a good feeling that distracts you…and the good feeling that nourishes your soul.

Sometimes when I try to talk about this, I don’t have the words. The feeling comes before words, and when I try to “eff” the Ineffable, my words fall short.

This is where a second complaint about me surfaces. It goes something like this:

“Steph, I don’t understand what you’re saying. I can tell that you’re feeling something, but I don’t get it.”

I’ve been told that I should choose more precise words because the ones I’m using are confusing. If I want to communicate with people who are accustomed to using their intellects to understand, I need to do a better job of explaining myself.

And why don’t I explain things as clearly as (this-or-that spiritual teacher.) If I’d only said it that way, they would have gotten it years ago!

Again, they’re not wrong.

Except.

My critics think words and concepts create understanding. What they don’t see is that spiritual understanding is never found in the words; it’s uncovered in spite of them.

And yes, words can help. I could surely have better explanations, metaphors and stories.

But what I do have – what I rely on more than anything else – is the feeling we were talking about.

Sometimes it brings me eloquent words and engaging stories. But other times, my words flat-out contradict themselves, sounding more psychotic or cryptic than logical.

But if I struggle to find the words, I lose the good feeling, and what I say strays further from the mark.

And so, the good feeling is my compass, because feeling good is not only the best thing to moves the needle – it’s the only thing that ever does.

If you’re still with me after all that, I have an invitation that demonstrates how practical staying in a good feeling can be.

It’s called…

The See → Do → Teach Lab

Four 1:1 coaching sessions take you through the four steps—See, Do, Teach, Integrate—creating a powerful learning loop that transforms insight into understanding and mastery. Together, these steps accelerate your mastery and create real‑world impact.

Session 1: See It Live – An interactive experience with a demonstration and conversation to spark insight and clarity.

Session 2: Do It Yourself – Do the exact same process yourself, embedding the skill through hands‑on practice.

Session 3: Teach It Forward – Then, teach what you’ve learned to someone else, which surfaces hidden gaps and deepens understanding.

Session 4: Integrate – Finally, reflect on what worked, what didn’t, and adapt to your unique context, in a feedback loop taking your learning to the next level.

Normally, I’d charge $1,500 for an experience including four coaching sessions and custom lessons between. Right now, it’s available for 3 people for only $777.

🎯 Only three spots are open at this introductory rate—then the price goes up.

If you’re interested, hit reply and tell me. Then I’ll send you all the details and lock in your spot.
