As of this writing, I have completed three of my DragonHeart Portal Conversations, and I have to admit…
…this experiment is going even better than I thought!
I often toss out offers to see what happens, and it’s not uncommon for one to be a dud. (That’s normal in business, by the way. Trying stuff that doesn’t work out the way you hope.)
But this offer sizzles. One might even say it has aliveness.
At least I would say that.
And I’m learning so much about sales! A byproduct of these experiments is noticing new things, getting insights. Growing.
Yesterday, I was pitched in a way that felt icky, even though I was a willing participant.
Today, I was unexpectedly invited to an offer that was possibly the most genuine-feeling “sales pitch” I’ve ever received. It went like this:
“I would love to capture the transformation of Steph DragonHeart as a storybook. It would be a paid offer because then I can really bring myself to it fully.”
I blinked.
There was no artifice in the offer. It felt like he had nothing on it. He was just expressing what he would like to offer me, the way he’d like to offer it.
And it was beautiful.
I don’t think I knew it was possible to be so clean about making an offer. It was just so…ordinary.
The feeling of someone making an offer without attachment, insecurity or agenda taught me more about honest selling than all the courses, lectures and energy-clearings I’ve done in my entire life. (And I’ve done lots.)
Back to what I’m noticing about the experiment I’m in…
The thing I notice that’s really working about the DragonHeart Portal Conversations has nothing to do with strategy.
What’s working is doing what I actually want, the way I actually want to do it.
I show up alive, engaged, curious. Ready.
And that energy is contagious.
With feedback like this from my first three conversations:
“This was a 10 for magic!”
“I can want things. Because I want them. Full Stop. not as a means to an end or other justification required. Simple but profound.”
“This was really useful!”
I can confidently say that if you show up willing and curious to the DragonHeart Portal, you magic shows up, too. And some really cool shit goes down.
