4 people holding hearts and dragon sketches I thought I’d feel weird about sending this email. But I don’t.

Just goes to show (yet again) how bad I am at predicting the future, especially how I’m going to feel.

I’d like to ask for your help with the DragonHeart Quest.

It’s the first time I feel moved to share a project without reservation. Unabashedly. One might even say, dragonhearted-ly.

I don’t have anything on it.

I’d love for you to join in the fun, but I’m perfectly okay if it’s not for you. In fact, I wouldn’t want you to contribute unless it felt joyful. Anything else misses the whole point of the DragonHeart Quest.

Here’s my “impossible” goal:

Get 10,000 people to take the DragonHeart Quest (by April 12, 2026) to awaken the wild, creative heart of humanity…one DragonHeart at a time.

What does it mean to be DragonHearted?

It’s a return to the wild, courageous heart you were born with.

Before you were taught about right and wrong.
Before good and bad.
Before “should.”

You saw something you wanted, and you moved toward it.

You were unstoppable in pursuing your desires.

The DragonHearted are waking up to themselves, the beauty of life and the delight of living from what they know, not just what they think.

They’re curious enough to question the assumptions and notice what they see for themselves.

They are seekers of truth, not just information.

They are questers of embodied experience.

They’re here to express the message in their hearts and live as their wild, authentic selves.

“I do not care what comes after; I have seen the dragons on the wind of morning.”
— Ursula K. Le Guin

If you support making art (writing, dancing, painting, drawing, whatever-ing), unleashing your weird, sharing from delight and spreading joy…

…the Quest might be right up your alley. And if you also love dragons, it definitely is.

Here are 4 ways you can help spread DragonHeartedness.

🔥 Take the DragonHeart Quest!

Spend 10 minutes on your micro-creation. Give it away. Report via the website form to make sure your Quest is counted. Then nominate a few friends to take the Quest.

It all starts here: https://www.dragonheartquest.com

🐉 Host a DragonPod online on in person.

Would you love to take the DragonHeart Quest and create micro-art offerings with friends?

Hosting a DragonHeart Pod in your local neighborhood or by video chat is a great way to share the spark. You may follow these tips and suggestions for hosting a DragonHeart Pod or invent your own gathering.

There’s no wrong way to awaken a dragon.

🫂 Forward this blog post to a DragonHearted Community Leader.

Introduce me to a community, organizer, or leader who might want to host a DragonPod or support the Quest.

They can read the website to learn more about the Quest and contact me.

🛠 Donate time or talent.

This a 100% volunteer driven event. Contributions of design, copy, outreach, tech and other magic-making are very welcome.

If contributing feels joyful, respond to this email and we’ll explore it together.

Let me reiterate something…

This is a strong invitation. I’m thrilled to offer this to the world and see what happens.

But I really only want you to join in if it feels joyful, fun or maybe even a little bit scary/exciting.

Because creating and sharing from JOY is the point.

Will 10,000 people say yes to the call to awaken?

We’ll have to wait see.

GO, TEAM DRAGONHEART!!!

Yours in love and play,

Steph 🐲❤️‍🔥
