I shrieked in pain.
“Olly, help!”
He rushed into the next room, expecting blood, disaster or at least some bruises.
Instead…
…there I was with my shirt half over my head, arms trapped, flailing around like a goofball.
My very long hair was caught in my very long and dangly earrings, and without the use of my hands and eyes, I was just STUCK.
After he stopped laughing, Olly gently untangled everything and I was free.
I’m not just sharing this to put a (possibly disturbing) image into your head. This is a great metaphor for how smart people get stuck with creating.
It’s not an actual catastrophe. They’re just tangled up in their own thinking.
Here’s the simplest formula I know for getting unstuck:
Choose → Simplify → Act
1. Choose
When your mind is swirling with good ideas, it’s hard to know which one to choose. And which is the right one?
But your heart knows what’s right for you. You’ll know it, too, because it’s what you actually want.
A client called Nina came to a conversation with Jasmyne and me with an idea she was stalling on. She’d been changing strategies every month or two, without getting real results.
I asked her what she really wanted. And most importantly, why.
Within minutes, she’d reconnected to her inspiration and the choice was obvious.
She was instantly unstuck.
Within 24 hours, Nina had a clear business model, rebrand and real movement.
2. Simplify
Once you choose, the next quest is to avoid getting overwhelmed by the sheer size and scope of it.
It needs to become as simple as one small action.
My client, DanaGita, had a massive vision pulling her:
42 modules presented in a series of deepening wisdom, an entire spiritual lineage.
The vision was just too big for her to contemplate. So she put it off.
Until we scheduled a DragonAngel intervention.
We didn’t try to create the whole program in a weekend. Instead, our goal was simple:
- A clear outline her new program
- A simple offer
- An invitation she could share
After the weekend, she sent me this voice message:
“Wow. My mouth is open. I’m speechless. Honestly.
…now I have the words for what was already there within me…and suddenly it becomes so clear.”
By the end of the weekend, she had way more than we planned:
- The full arc of her 21-day journey
- A clear articulation of who it’s for
- A grounded offer
- A written invitation
- Strategic insight of how all her work fits together
And something even more important:
Momentum.
DanaGita said this:
“Stephanie, I would have given up more than once if you hadn’t been here with me.”
Which brings us to…
3. Act
One real action is enough.
It really doesn’t matter what it is. (Trying to choose the “right” one is what keeps you spinning.)
The next natural action that springs to mind is enough.
Send the email.
Invite the conversation.
Name the offer.
Set the date.
From there, the next step appears.
This is what Jasmyne and I have built into our new workshop, Get It Done (and Have Fun!).
Choose the thing.
Simplify the path.
Get into action.
Enrollment opens tomorrow. 10 spots only.
And if you already know this is for you…
The first 3 people to join get a bonus 30 minute 1:1 Get It Done session with Jasmyne. (It’s worth $300+ and likely more, if we quit trying to be humble.)
So put a time in your calendar to come back to this link tomorrow April 28th at 12pm ET to get first dibs:
