Today I’d like to introduce you to the five people most responsible for stalled dreams, abandoned creations and brilliant ideas that never see the light of day.
*drumroll please*
Meet the players…
What If I Choose Wrong Wendy
Wendy is well-meaning, but fickle wench. She’s so desperate to choose the right option that she runs every one through 47 scenarios…and chooses none..
With Wendy at your side, you’ll never be alone in your analysis paralysis.
I’m Just Not Ready Eddy
Eddy is a man of constant improvement. He’s studying for a new certification, rewriting headlines, scrubbing the panty.
He’s incredibly productive…at avoiding anything real.
All because it’s just not ready yet.
And if you listen to Eddy, your work will always be “almost there.”
Marketing Is Gross Melinda
We love sweet Melinda. She loathes all things bro marketing, girl boss power, and manipulation. She’s an ambassador for ethical business.
The problem is she throws ALL marketing into the same basket of rotten fish. She doesn’t yet know that marketing can (and we think, should) feel good.
The result? No marketing = no one knows you exist.
Overwhelmed Olivia
Too much to do, not enough time. This lady thinks she’s overwhelmed because she’s juggling a million things, when really, she’s juggling a million thoughts.
Olivia will keep your mind moving fast with thoughts that seem helpful, but keep you mired in quicksand.
Everything feels urgent, yet nothing gets finished.
Been There Before Bri
This is the one who’s “been there, done that.” Bri keeps the receipts. They have a laptop full of dusty courses, files of ideas tried and things that didn’t work.
So now Bri tries to protect you from disappointment by shutting down your next move with, “I’ve already tried that and it didn’t work.”
Perhaps you’ve spent time with one or more of these characters?
They’ve had a good run.
They don’t mean any harm, but they’re excellent at keeping you stuck.
Fortunately, you don’t need to defeat them. You just need to take an action while they’re busy yapping away.
Unfortunately (for them), enrollment for Get It Done (and Have Fun!) is designed for as a live, focused space to:
- Choose the offer that matters
- Simplify so it’s real
- Craft a clear invitation
- Hit send
All in one session.
You don’t leave with a pile of notes. You leave with something done.
