Sometimes I really want you to like me.
Especially on one of those days where I’m feeling low and insecure. When my
curls are flat, my skin looks dull, and I’m constantly bumping into things.
On those days, even though I know it’s just a “low mood,” the thought of
irritating you with the wrong email or (god forbid) one that sells something feels awful.
But today is not one of those days.
Today I know the truth:
I’d prefer that you like me…but I’m also completely okay if you don’t.
I’d love it if you find my emails interesting and entertaining, but I’m not kidding myself that you rush to your inbox just to see if there’s a message from Steph.
On days like today, it makes sense to send an email like this letting you know that something cool is going away. Something you might have been too busy to investigate.
