I’d like to introduce you to my friend Scott Walker aka The Happiness Bandit.
Scott is on a quest.
Not for treasure or enlightenment. Or even a good cup of coffee in LA under $10.
He’s on a quest to uncover what actually makes people happier. The practical, science-backed habits and tiny shifts that create more joy, connection, gratitude, and wonder.
And he’s allergic to BS pseudo-science and woo woo fluff.
A few weeks ago, Scott joined the Get It Done (and Have Fun!) workshop hosted by Jasmyne DesBiens and me.
Within 48 hours, he publicly announced the upcoming launch of his course with the invitation:
Steal Back Your Happiness
It’s for people who would like:
- less stress, anxiety, and loneliness
- more joy, excitement and (yes) happiness
- to (re)discover a sense of quiet satisfaction
- to wake up without the fear that life is slipping away
- to ditch the nagging feeling that’s something’s still missing
During our follow-up Magic 8 Ball session, Scott arrived talking about courses, audiences and business strategy.
Then somewhere along the way, we ended up talking about role-playing games, rubber chickens, playfulness, and what actually makes life worth living.
As one does.
One of the things I appreciate most about Scott is that he takes happiness seriously enough to pour through the research…but not so seriously forget to make it fun.
Scott writes a free email newsletter called The Happiness Bandit.
Every other Sunday, he shares one practical idea drawn from the science of happiness, habits and plain ole fun.
If this sounds like your cup of tea (or dragon-sized goblet of enchanted cacao), you can join The Happiness Bandit here:

Yours in love and play,
Steph 🐲❤️
P.S. If you enter Scott’s world, you will meet a rubber chicken called Ken. You can thank me later.
