a group of people sitting and looking at each otherWe just completed a 90 day Pantheon community experience.

What began as a question:

What happens when creative people come together without a leader telling everyone what to do?

…became something I never could have imagined.

Of course, I had my ideas about what it could be, what it should be. (A peer-led community. A creative incubator. A marketplace for amazing humans doing cool stuff.)

But the best part wasn’t looking for what the Pantheon could be come; it was discovering what it already was.

A group of people willing to show up as themselves.

We asked for what we wanted. We offered what felt joyful to give.

We received presence. Our own and others.

We listened. We witnessed each other.

And something beautiful emerged.

The love and the presence in the space surprised me.

Despite all my self-consciousness, all my worry, all my pretending. It can be…simple.

I didn’t know that before, and I’m just beginning to really see it now.

None of this happened because of a technique or a formula for creating psychological safety or making people feel connected.

I’d be bullshitting if I told you I knew why it happened. But my best guess – my soul’s knowing – is that it happened because we were willing to come together to see and be seen.

And while I would swear on the Dragon Bible that this is a group of extraordinary humans, what we experienced together was also very ordinary.

In other words, there’s nothing they have that you don’t. There’s nothing we experienced together that isn’t available for you, too.

Here’s what people said about the Pantheon:

“I received a new understanding of community. I think I’m realizing I had no idea what community was.”

“Connection and acceptance… Being able to think deeply. Being accepted. You show up with your vulnerabilities and your kindness. It always fills me.”

“Catalyzing creative energy got stirred up. Inspiration. The meaningful connection that came out of these calls.”

So often we’re looking for the magic in something out there: a system, a teacher, a community.

The Pantheon experience taught me the magic that happens when we show up as ourselves together with open hearts and curiosity.

We are already the magic we’ve been looking for.

I want to share the closing blessing from Mooji that I read to at the gathering to close our time together.

“May all who come
here in search of Truth,
and whose hearts and minds
beat only to discover the real,
awaken to the full realisation
of the imperishable Self
inside their hearts and
be timelessly happy and content.
Know that the true heart
and the illumined mind are one.
God and Truth are similarly one.
Know and acknowledge this
with your entire being.
Go in peace.
And may all those who meet you
along the way be so touched
and inspired by your light,
your loving kindness and compassion,
your wisdom and silent presence,
that they are compelled to search
within themselves to discover that
which they see in you,
and so find everlasting freedom.
For blessed is the one
whose life is the evidence of Truth.
May the power of Truth prevail
in all its glory and perfection
in the hearts of those
who love and honour
the Supreme Being.
This is my heart’s blessing for you,
that you will always recognise
the ever-present Grace
that is your heart’s divine activity.
And may your presence be
a true introduction to the face,
light and love of the living God.

Amen Om”
