If my job was a game, it would be called, “The Ridiculously Enjoyable Life and Business Game.”
Here’s how you’d play:
First, you’d dream up what your most amazing life and business creation looks like.
How many hours do you work?
How many hours do you play?
What are you creating?
Who are you playing with?
What are you NOT doing?
What do you want your life to be about?
You gain points for dreaming big and waving a magic wand to allow an “impossible,” ridiculously enjoyable vision to appear.
You lose points for being prematurely practical or squishing your dreams down into a “realistic” version.
You rack up more points every time you roll the dice and take action.
Every time you stop yourself from doing what you really want, you jump back a few spaces…but if you catch yourself in the act, you can recover those spaces on your next turn.
There are no permanent penalties in this game. There’s no dragon jail and no “you should have known better” square where you sit out for three turns wearing a dunce cap.
You win the game by having the most fun and inviting the coolest people to play.

I realized something really cool in writing this:
I am already playing my dream life and business game.
I set out to discover what it was for myself when I started The Awakened Business way back in 2017. It morphed and changed, ebbed and flowed.
I created some offers that sold, and others that tanked. I created memberships and then let them go.
I tried things, learned things, and changed the rules when the old ones stopped being fun.
More recently, my game blossomed into Steph DragonHeart.
It became less about designing a business model and more about being me, and discovering the forms of business and partnership that naturally emerge from it.
One of those emergent adventures is helping others create and play their own Ridiculously Amazing Game.
It proves something, if one can say this is something that can be proved –
You can name your own game of life, make up the rules, enjoy the hell out of it…and feel like a winner no matter how it turns out.
If your business was a game, what would it be?
Hit reply and tell me. Bonus points if you include one rule, one way to score points, or one absurd penalty for taking yourself too seriously.
I’ll respond with a magical reflection. ✨️
Yours in love and play,
Steph 🐲❤️
