Pebble creating concentric ripples in a calm lake at dawn.I’ve come to see that the little things are often the big things.

Tiny actions are what create relationships, opportunities and empires. You never know where that next one might take you.

A few examples from my own life, in no particular order.

#1 – Buying StephDragonHeart.com.

I purchased the domain without knowing why. Then I was moved to write the words that might live there. I ended up changing my public name and signature to Steph 🐲❤️.

It’s evolving into a whole new way of living, doing business and creating in the world.

#2 – Signing up for the very first Advanced Course.

I randomly stumbled onto the website of some guy called Michael Neill and ended up buying a ticket with only a vague idea of what this “advanced” course was about.

The result:

Life-changing insights. Becoming a transformative coach. Connections with a vibrant community.

I had no idea how radically that one small choice would radically change my life. Absolutely no idea.

#3 – Writing the email I was scared to send.

I was brainstorming ideas to promote an in person retreat I was co-hosting with friends a few years ago. The idea to invite someone popped into my head and I committed to do it.

When our call finished, it was time to send the email.

Immediately, I felt a wave of fear.

I didn’t really know the woman. What would she think of me? Who was I to ask?

“I’ll send it later,” I told myself.

BAM! Just like that, I caught it.

I saw myself talking myself out of action with a sneaky little promise to “do it later” – only later never comes.

So I sent the email anyway. Right then.

Nothing spectacular happened from sending that email. But it became a defining moment.

Now, when fear tempts me to “do it later,” I don’t let it stop me.

#4 – Walking into my first pole dance class.

I had this crazy idea for an Impossible Project in 2023, doing a public pole dance performance in seven inch heels.

I had no dance experience, and couldn’t even walk in heels, let alone dance in them.

I signed up for my very first pole dance choreography class in northern California. I wobbled and flopped around in borrowed heels. I could barely keep up. It was a hot mess.

I loved it.

I never dreamed I’d now spend hours every week swinging myself around a pole, cross-training, and even daring to call myself a dancer.

#5 – A conversation with a stranger.

I met an interesting man in a Zoom breakout room during the pandemic. He told me about his village building project.

I invited him to a conversation.

He invited me into a project called Elegant Earth. He introduced me to a man called Olly. Then he invited me to an event in Portugal.

One conversation opened the door to a new love and life in another country.

#6 – Writing this email.

I’m not even being facetious.

Every little choice is creating your life.

Every dream you say yes to. Every creative inspiration you follow. Every nudge you’re moved by.

You never know which decision might change everything, but following what you know always takes you on a worthy adventure.

What’s a tiny action that has changed your life? I’d love to hear about it.

Yours in love and play,

Steph 🐲❤️
