a lady holding a note saying "Love Money Sprint"Love Money Sprint Day 1

Dear Diary,

It’s 9pm on Friday night, the end of Day One in our mad sprint to launch the Love Money course in just three days.

I built the Wait List page, generated a task list and organization folder on Google Drive, set up the sales page template, brainstormed headlines, and wrote two promo emails.

Ryn’s feedback on my progress:

“WOWZERs, partner. You have hit this like a tornado!🌪️”

I find this strange, given that her hometown of St. Louis was literally hit by a tornado last week.

I’m not nearly so impressed with my progress. There’s so much to do!

Writing this is the last task I can manage before my brain shuts off. Wish me luck tomorrow!

Steph

Let me be real with you…

The beginning of a launch is the hardest part for me.

I overthink the tasks (cue violins for the Overwhelm Sonata) and underestimate how much time they will take.

Dum, dum, DUM!

I usually spin my wheels for a number of days after committing to a launch. Except in this case – there’s simply no time to spin with a tight deadline looming.

So I remind myself to keep it simple, turn off the inner critic, stop thinking and just WRITE.

I hit the ground running this morning, and stopped myself mid-way into a potentially time-sucking detour creating Canva images…that were not on my task list.

Stay on the road, Steph. Keep it clean.

I know from experience that if I stay the course, the momentum from generating headlines and writing emails today will prime me to dive in and ride the wave of inspiration for the sales page tomorrow.

Or at least, that’s the plan. 😁

Ryn has a fantastic idea for making a video about how her ten year-old daughter made her own fairy garden. It’s the perfect example of joyful creation and sharing the concepts of Love Money.

Check out this photo of her fairy garden:

I can’t wait to share this story!

But when Ryn asked for my recommendations about video editing today, it gave me pause.

Is she about to go down a tech rabbit hole and lose a day struggling with a piece of software? I’ve advised her to Keep It Simple and forgo the editing, if possible. We’ll see how that turns out.

Even though I would have liked to have completed a shitty first draft of the sales page, I’m still feeling pretty good. I have my fingers in the dirt, the scent of earth is in my nostrils, and stuff is about to sprout.

(That’s a clumsy metaphor for being in the good feeling of creation.)

Oh, I almost forgot –

We’re going to offer some Fast Action Bonuses for the first people to buy the Love Money course. So if you think you might be interested, hop on the Wait List for priority notice as soon as we open:

Actually, I haven’t even run the Fast Action Bonus idea by Ryn yet, but like they say – better to ask for forgiveness than wait for permission. Hee hee. 🤭

I am a force of nature on a mission.

See you tomorrow!

Yours in love and play,

Steph
