Some common patterns I see:
Following an expert strategy instead of following their heart. While it seems like a good idea to borrow from those who’ve done it, if the strategy isn’t aligned, it won’t work for you.
Trying to convince or persuade, even unconsciously. If you’re coming from a place of neediness, it shows up in your message and turns people off.
Toning down or avoiding the message they really want to share. Oftentimes the most powerfully magnetic message is the one you’re scared to say.
Forgetting to include a clear next step. Even if you nail the other steps, give people a simple path to follow for more.
There are reasons why we don’t do this stuff. Sharing from the heart can bring up insecurities and fears. So we do what feels “safe” instead of what feels real. Or we freeze up and do nothing at all.
