I’m on Day 3 of a 5-day Michael Neill training here in Los Angeles. The focus this weekend is “Beyond Psychology,” a deep look past the mess of our psyche to discover who we really are.
It’s glorious.
The terrain is familiar, but ilike all great spiritual conversations, there’s always more to see.
I’m connecting with friends new and old, and today I indulged in a $10 Reishi Cappucino from Erewhon.
Experiences like these are one of my favorite parts of this work. Whether I’m participating or facilitating, the exploration of spiritual truth always takes me deeper.
Today, I’m seeing through some lifelong habits.
Here’s one: I spend so much time thinking about how to get there from here, that I’m not here at all. This shows up most in anxious thinking about travel logistics.
Well, today I biked to and from the hotel, weaving through the Venice Boulevard bike lane, right alongside LA traffic.
I didn’t even flinch! That in itself is a miracle because only a few days ago, the same ride felt terrifying. Today, it was easy.
But what does my love for these transformational adventures mean for you?
You get the benefit of every insight, every shift, every layer that falls away. The deeper I go, the deeper we can go together.
This exploration is infinite, and the more I see, the more I realize how much I don’t know.
As Michael likes to say, “You’re always halfway up the infinite ladder of consciousness.”
This expansion doesn’t just stay with me. It flows through me into everything I create, each conversation I have, and everyone I work with.
So even if you’re not here with me in LA, I hope the ripple of increased ease, joy and freedom reaches you wherever you are. It’s contagious, in the best possible way.
