This October an event will happen at the foot of Mount Fuji, Japan, at a very special location called Fuji Sanctuary, where people of many faiths, nations, and backgrounds gather in prayer for peace and harmony.
Hiroshima was bombed on August 6, 1945, and Nagasaki on August 9. A thousand moons later, this first prototype seeks the answer to a powerful question:
What becomes possible when creativity, intelligence, technology, and human attention are gathered not toward destruction, but toward healing, connection, and creation?
I’m excited to be there.
And I’m helping to gather a group of magical creators…
…artists, technologists, storytellers, community leaders, facilitators…
…whose hearts and minds come alive with the intention behind this project.
Over the summer, we will gather in an online laboratory (the Collaboratorium) to help create this experience.
Together, we will
- Explore and expand possibilities
- Dream and design the experience
- Learn and share skills
- Connect and support
- Test the limits of what’s possible
- Play our way into a bright, beautiful future
How did I end up here?
I could say it’s because of my friend, Krishnan, whose big vision has inspired and drawn me from the very first moment we met in Lisbon. A veritable tsunami of possibilities washed over me as he shared his dream of Radiant IRIS.
And while that’s true, that’s just one part of the story.
Almost a decade ago, I came alive with the desire to wake people up to what’s really possible for them in life. And I started asking the most audacious question:
If I could do anything and people’s lives would transform in beautiful ways, what would I do?
The answers came easily.
Tell stories.
Laugh.
Sit in silence.
Play.
Simply being ourselves and creating, we would wake each other up.
The Collaboratorium gathering feels like a living exploration of that question.
If this piques your curiosity, you’re invited to come closer.
🌛 Look and listen, my friend. The Moon Children have an invitation for you.
The first circle of the Collaboratorium gathers soon, and I have permission to extend this friends-and-community invitation to you.
