Oooh, I’m on fire with sharing the DragonHeart Quest!
I’ve spent hours over the past few days doing things I would never normally do. Like…
…creating QR codes
…designing print outs
…writing instructions for hosting DragonPods
…creating Zapier integrations
…building automations
This is a job for “designers” and “techies” (aka not me) but here I am, working my little dragon tail off to get a fast-and-dirty version of the Quest out there so people can actually take it.
But I want to share one of my favorite parts of this DragonHeart Quest. And it isn’t the idea spreading wild, creative acts or reading the stories people will share or even my own experience with the Quest.

The Treasure Chest
As more DragonHearts awaken and pass the spark on our journey to 10,000 Questers, we unlock shared gifts.
These are celebrations of our creating, expressing, and being seen. Each milestone opens a new treasure from the chest, building the momentum, delight, and collective magic.
But honestly – I’m just offering these “incentives” because they make me collapse into a fit of dragon giggles.
Here’s what unlocks as the Quest grows:
🔥 33 DragonHearts
A spontaneous Dragon story broadcast by Steph. A signal flare. A beacon to signify we’ve begun.
🔥 108 DragonHearts
The first collective DragonHeart Gathering online. Faces, voices and fire in the same room.
🔥 333 DragonHearts
A global Dragon Minute. Everyone who feels the call creates something at the same time, wherever they are.
🔥 555 DragonHearts
A live DragonHeart ritual dance performance from Steph. Art as invocation. No repeats.
🔥 1,000 DragonHearts
A DragonHeart flash mob. A spontaneous creative act in public around the world.
🔥 3,333 DragonHearts
A telephone-style story ritual that moves through the community, from one DragonHeart to the next.
🔥 5,555 DragonHearts
The DragonHeart Quest will sponsor a dragon for a year. Literally.
AND we will sponsor the Portland Dragon Boat Festival 2026. Because dragons show up for each other.
🔥 10,000 DragonHearts
The DragonHeart Quest Celebration. A collective rite of passage and the release of the Dragon Oracle.
I have no idea how we’re going to pull off a global Dragon Minute, a flash mob and a telephone story. But won’t it be cool if we get there and I have to find out?

I am going to do everything I can to hit these milestones. For no reason other than that it delights the f*#k out of me.
