I am busier this week than I’ve been in years.

Bee on a purple flower

I’m in the midst of the chaos of moving into a new place, while prepping for my (Un)market Your Message free series of presentations and the launch of my Play Circle membership, with all the landing pages, copy and promotional material necessary to pull it together. Oh, and a new membership site — all of which needs to be done this week.

I ought to be pulling my hair out, and last night, I did spend a few moments swearing over my laptop screen.

But really, I’m okay. Like really okay.

I’ve been deliberately not-busy for the past three years.

After leaving my life, marriage and business in New York behind, I was determined not to do the hustle and grind of internet marketing any more. I avoided anything related to course and membership creation because I thought that was the source of my stress.

But this morning I’m shocked to see how I’m showing up with the incredible load of what’s happening in my life. In the past, I would have collapsed into an exhausted heap and desperately off-loaded half the things on my plate just to have some breathing room.

But now, I’m simply doing it.

Honestly, I don’t know if I can pull everything off according to my expectations; in fact, I know that I can’t, since last night all my self-imposed targets for completion got bumped. Again.

How can it be that I’m not freaked out?

I’m sitting in a space this morning that has nothing to do with how much or little is going on in my life. The space is always here.

If I’m going to guide people in creating business (and life) with the flow of creativity and ease, even in the midst of chaos, I have to do it myself.

Flow in Business from Flow of Life

What I’m seeing is that you can’t create a new, joyful way of doing business beyond the hustle and hype…

…from the misunderstanding that how you feel is caused by your business, what you get done, or how much money sits in your bank account.

You’ll just end up with a slightly better set of “business rules” to beat yourself with.

Flow in business comes from knowing that you’re held by the Flow of Life, your guidance comes from within, and that it’s always here for you, even when it’s difficult to see.

When you and I really get this, we’ll be happy no matter what our business looks like…

…and yet falling deeply in love with every part of business and creating from joy becomes inevitable.

There’s no trick to getting this and it can’t be done intellectually.

If it seems impossible, that’s okay. Me, too, some days. 🙂

Stay with the possibility and keep looking to the Flow of Life.

And if you like, take my hand on this journey. We’ll do it together.
