I’ve been asking this community what it wants, and the answer is clear and resonant.
“I want a community that feels like home.”
“A place where I belong.”
“I want to feel seen. Heard. Witnessed.”
In 2023, the US Surgeon General declared the “epidemic of loneliness” as a mental health crisis. So many people are feeling isolated, alone and disconnected.
I believe we can change that.
The DragonHeart Quest is a simple, disarmingly small invitation:
Create one small thing.
A poem.
A drawing.
A handmade note.
A ridiculous cardboard sculpture.
A voice memo.
A paper crown.
Anything.
Give it to someone who isn’t expecting it and see what happens.
They soften at the unexpected moment of generosity. Of being seen. Even if only for a moment.
That moment is everything.
Now imagine not one, but 10,000 of those moments.
10,000 unexpected acts of creativity rippling through neighborhoods, offices, classrooms, cafés, homes.
10,000 interruptions to the normal rhythm of caution and self-protection.
10,000 tiny reminders that we belong. We’re here. We’re seen.
The DragonHeart Quest is an experiment in something potentially world-changing:
Does joy spread?
If 10,000 people choose to create and give freely, what does it shift?
The DragonHeart Quest is a global experiment of love-in-action.
It’s small and accessible on purpose. Undeniably human.
And yes, there is a sticking point..
When you finish creating your small thing, you’ll be invited to share it with someone.
You’ll likely feel resistance. (I did.)
A voice that says,
“This is silly.”
“This isn’t good enough.”
“Don’t share that.”
Resistance doesn’t mean something is wrong. It means the real Quest has begun.
Because this is not about artistic excellence.
It’s about courage, connection, and remembering that your expression matters.
We’re calling 10,000 people to step forward before April 12th.
Just to make something.
Give it away.
And see what happens.
