Last night one of my transformation geek friends (I have several) left me a voice message with the following question:
If your entire life was a BLANK PAGE – no past, no story, no limitations, no connections – what would you do?
Frankly, the question pissed me off.
I felt offended at the assumption that I wasn’t already doing what I wanted. Just who did he think he was?
And even as I was thinking it, I knew I wasn’t actually upset with my friend or even offended by the question.
I just didn’t want to answer it.
Normally, I live for expansive, possibilty-full, reflective questions like this.
But this one felt tender, landing at a moment when I was already feeling a bit discouraged and confused.
This morning, when I was finally feeling settled after dreaming about being a reluctant prostitute (blame the series Harlots) I revisited the question and saw it anew.
My honest answer:
If my life was a blank page, I would not recreate The Awakened Business as it is today.
And there it was. The thing I’d been avoiding, but sensing for a few months now.
This business I’ve created is no longer the one I want.
My helpful/PITA friend likened it to driving a vehicle I don’t like. I’m showing up. My people are showing up. All is good there. But then I ask them to hop into this old jalopy I don’t really enjoy driving.
Damn. He was right.
In the sunlight of this new day, I can see how much was alive and emergent in my life right now. So much is happening me – I just don’t (yet) know exactly what or where it’s taking me.

Well, I’ll reveal more in the coming days, but it’s going to live under the umbrella of Steph DragonHeart. 🐲♥️
The essence feels like:
Live your life (and business) like performance art.
Unscripted.
Transformative.
Emergent.
Expressive.
Provocative.
You.
This isn’t an end, but an evolution.
Because I’ve grown. In fact, I’ve grown (dragon) wings.
This is my first official proclamation of becoming Steph DragonHeart. You can expect some celebratory experiences, rituals and offerings in the coming months.
