The Get It Done (and Have Fun!) workshop last week was a success!
Four brave get-it-doners.
Each of them moved something real into the world.
As an extra incentive, I promised to give each participant a shoutout if they hit “send” within 48 hours…
…because there’s something powerful about moving while the creative spark is alive instead of waiting until you feel more ready, more polished or more certain.
On that note, I’m delighted to introduce you to Kate Wiggs.
Kate is an art therapist turned coach who explores creativity, consciousness, grief, love and personal responsibility. (All her favorite subjects.) She’s UK-based, but deeply in love with California.
Within 24 hours of the workshop, Kate recorded and published episode one of her brand new podcast, Little Victories.
I think this is exactly the kind of project that deserved to be born alive and imperfect rather than endlessly “prepared.”
In this first episode, Kate shares the beginning of writing her father’s story and what it means to create in the middle of grief. It’s a tender conversation about heartbreak, creativity, and the small moments that help us keep going.
What moved me most is that she didn’t wait until she had the whole podcast figured out.
She started with what was real.
This is where the most meaningful creations come from – being willing to begin while something true is moving through you.
