A single glowing golden node unfolding into a vibrant, multicolored network of threads.

A few days ago, I shared 7 Tiny Decisions That Changed My Entire Life.

One of my favorite replies came from none other than Scott Walker (The Happiness Bandit.)

“At the risk of stating the obvious, saying yes to Lex’s offer to introduce us was a small decision.

Jumping on a Zoom call with you was a small decision.

Having a working call with you to explore my path was a small decision.

Responding to your invite to collaborate on something together was technically a bigger decision, but after the previous small decisions, it felt like a small, natural decision.

Our path unfolded organically and led to some super cool stuff that I’m proud to have been a part of (and hopefully more shenanigans in the future).

And as Steve Jobs said, it’s easy to see the connections in hindsight, but it’s nearly impossible to do so up front…”

I love that because that’s exactly how it happened.

Neither of us woke up the morning we met and announced, “Today I shall establish a meaningful creative partnership.”

We simply kept saying yes to the next interesting conversation.

The collaboration Scott refers to was The Happy Hour (Hour), a playful romp and exploration of where happiness really comes from.

One small decision laid the path for a conversation, a collaboration, a friendship.

It seems to me that 99% of the choices we make are so tiny we almost miss them. Even the “big decisions” are really just another small decision sitting on top of a whole stack of tiny ones.

It’s such an adventure to see where they lead.

One such tiny decision was spending two days with Krishnan in Lisbon almost four years ago.

The conversations we had in that time blossomed into a friendship, dozens of experiments and playdates, and now partnership on a team.

Today, that journey has become the Collaboratorium: a global creative laboratory where artists, technologists, storytellers, facilitators, and community builders are exploring what becomes possible when creativity is used in service of peace.

If that sounds like one of those tiny yeses that makes your curiosity perk up, we’d love to meet you.

We’re hosting Orientation sessions this week, where you can experience the Collaboratorium, meet the team (including me), and decide whether this adventure is calling your name.

Whether it’s the Collaboratorium or something completely different, I’m curious:

What’s one tiny “yes” that’s waiting for you right now?

Sometimes that’s all it takes.

Yours in love and play,
