I see something holding creators back almost every day, and it touches my heart because for most of my life, that was me, too.
A person is seized by an inspiring idea. (Or lots of them!) They lit up and ready to rock-and-roll.
And then the doubts creep in:
How are you going to pull that off?
Is this really the right time?
Where’s the money going to come from?
Who are you to do this?
Just like that, the spark is gone. The idea dies.
This doesn’t just happen with the big dreams, either. Even the small nudges get squashed by doubt. Especially when it comes to doing the “scary” things like being more visible and putting yourself out there.
With doubt behind the wheel, it’s like driving with one foot on the gas and the other on the brake. You might be in motion, but you’re not going anywhere fast.
It can look like this:
- Writing an email newsletter and sitting on it for weeks before hitting send.
- Procrastinating about reaching out to someone who popped into your mind.
- Defaulting to a vague answer when someone asks what you do instead of speaking from your heart.
Even when you’re taking action, second-guessing drags you down like an anchor. It slows your momentum and sucks the joy out of creation.
If you’re not getting the results you want, that’s probably the reason why.
All this second-guessing comes from FEAR.
Fear takes many disguises – preference, opinion, practicality – whispering, You can’t be trusted. You’re not good enough to have what you want. It’s not safe.
For years, I’d become so skilled at avoiding fear that I didn’t know it was running the show. I couldn’t see how it was driving me to hide from discomfort with habits of avoidance.
Here’s what’s different about my approach:
I’m not going to tell you to push through fear. We’re won’t hunt for limiting beliefs and swap them out with better ones.
Instead, we’ll look in the direction of truth.
You’ll see what fear really is and recognize that it has no power over you because it doesn’t even exist.
When that really lands, you become fearless. Not because you don’t experience fear, but because you know it isn’t a reason to stop.
Being unstoppable doesn’t require superhuman courage or self-discipline. It just takes remembering who you really are – a force of nature built with everything you need to thrive.
This is my gift: catalyzing your greatness until it shines so clearly that nothing can dim it.
What if you never gave fear a second thought?
The first thought is going to come, but the second is up to you.
If you’re ready to stop second-guessing yourself and unleash your creative fire, let’s have a Being Unstopable conversation.
This may be for you if:
- You’re an artist, creative or coach with big vision and a huge heart for humanity
- You have at least two year’s experience in business
- You love learning and personal growth
- You’re done with letting fear and self-doubt get in your way
Contact me and tell me you’re ready. We’ll have a leisurely chat to explore the possibilities.
Yours in love and play,
Steph
