It’s happening!
The first creations and stories are now up on the DragonHeart Wall.
When I first invited people to create something and give it away to someone who wouldn’t be expecting it, I hoped it would be inspiring.
But I really had no idea how it would fly. Maybe this baby dragon project wouldn’t quite grow wings.
Fortunately, the roar is real. 🔥
Today I published the first stories on the DragonHeart Wall, and they made my heart so full and warm. I have to share a few moments with you.
One participant wrote:
“I was surprised by my willingness to participate. I noticed I have a load of pent-up creativity…I moved my work out of my mind and into the world.
I was motivated to share my little poem with a complete stranger, well almost complete as she was a service provider, but I opened my envelope and shared. The lady read it on the spot and we enjoyed a lovely exchange.” – MDRansom
Another shared this:
“I gave one art card…to someone I had chatted with before and this started a long conversation about art. They were very moved by the piece and said they were going to hang it up at home.” – Tom Mattox
Here’s the thing about the DragonHeart Quest:
You don’t have to be an artist.
You don’t have to be good.
Hell, you don’t even have to know what you’re doing.
Just show up.
Create something simple. A doodle on a napkin or a haiku counts.
Then give it to someone who won’t see it coming.
And watch what happens.
